As a Transfer Station Technician, you’ll be responsible for receiving containerized and bulk hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials, reviewing and completing waste documentation and scale tickets, identifying, consolidating, and repacking various waste streams, and completing day-to-day tasks such as facility inspections and equipment maintenance.
You’ll play an important role in waste tracking, shipping and receiving, and safety documentation, helping ensure all aspects of the operation are completed in a timely manner and meet management and regulatory expectations.
This role is based in Richmond, BC.
The Richmond Waste Services team is a collaborative, customer-focused group driven by SECURE’s commitment to safety, service and entrepreneurial spirit. The team works together to understand customer needs, develop practical solutions and deliver reliable waste management services that minimize environmental impact.
You’ll work a standard 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call duties. This role may require you to be flexible with shifts, extended hours and weekend work as dictated by business needs.
You’ll need to be comfortable working in challenging environments, including working outdoors in all weather conditions.
