As an Environment & Regulatory Advisor – Planning & Development, you will play an important role in supporting SECURE’s commitment to regulatory excellence and responsible operations. You will provide environmental and regulatory expertise across the business, helping teams navigate complex regulatory requirements, develop permitting strategies, support new projects and business opportunities, and identify practical solutions that strengthen compliance while enabling operational success.
This is an opportunity for an experienced environmental and regulatory professional who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, regulatory strategy, project development and business growth. You will work closely with internal teams, government and regulatory agencies, industry associations, consultants, and other stakeholders to influence positive outcomes and support SECURE’s continued growth.
This role is based out of Calgary, Alberta.
You will join a collaborative Environment & Regulatory team that works closely with Operations, Business Development, HSE and other groups across SECURE. The team values technical expertise, practical problem-solving and strong partnerships, with an emphasis on finding solutions that balance regulatory requirements with the needs of the business.
This role combines office-based work with regular collaboration across SECURE’s operations and project teams. Some travel to operational locations and meetings with regulators, industry groups and other stakeholders will be required.
