Your Opportunity at SECURE

As our Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining the rental fleet, while ensuring safety, cost control and quality workmanship. You will have a history of producing quality work with attention to detail in order to meet and exceed the rentals fleet expectations.

 

This role is based out of Leduc, Alberta.

Work Environment

This position is based full-time in our Leduc shop with occasional field service work to support operations as needed. The role offers a hands-on, fast-paced environment where safety is the top priority, requiring strong technical aptitude, computer skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining SECURE's culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

A Day in The Life

  • Maintaining the rental fleet’s electrical systems.
  • Use multimeters and electrical testing equipment proficiently.
  • Understand PLC programming logic and assist with troubleshooting control systems.
  • Install new electrical equipment and run wiring as required.
  • Troubleshooting the electrical systems 
  • Inventory management 
  • Helping with larger maintenance projects as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with the Shop Manager.
  • Prepare and maintain work sites to ensure safe operations.
  • Field service calls
  • Support field staff with troubleshooting problems
  • Performing other duties as required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Reliable – strict adherence to Company attendance standards.
  • Basic computer skills, math skills, and be good with numbers.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently perform the job productively under tight deadlines.
  • Must have positive communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be available for weekend on-call rotation.
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's licence.
