Your Opportunity at SECURE

The Scale Desk Administrator provides administrative support to the operations staff and facility manager. The successful candidate will quickly develop a working knowledge of the day-to-day operations and company activities while providing excellence in customer service. 

Work Environment

This position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule with 12-hour day shifts at our Willisden Green Landfill.

A Day in The Life

  • Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service to clients and co-workers
  • Maintain a professional office environment and ensure office and inventory supplies are adequately stocked
  • Assist Operations with template and document generation as required
  • Demonstrate ownership and support of the team’s vision and culture
  • Manage filing, scanning, incoming/outgoing mail, and maintain phone and contact lists
  • Support the Lead Administrator in meeting month-end timelines and facility sign-off requirements
  • Assist with safety tracking and related administrative duties
  • Support landfill administration activities, including approvals, daily tracking, volume balancing, and weigh scale functions
  • Assist marketers with administrative support as required
  • Responsible for daily ticket entry and troubleshooting ticket discrepancies
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Perform general office and administrative duties as required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative and/or customer service experience
  • Administration or Accounting Certificate/Diploma considered an asset
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
