Your Opportunity at SECURE

As our Contractor Management Analyst provides end‑to‑end oversight of the organization’s contractor management systems, with a primary focus on ISNetworld (ISN). The position ensures contractors meet health, safety, and compliance expectations, while also building and maintaining KPI frameworks that provide meaningful insights into performance, risk trends, and operational improvement opportunities.

 

This role is based out of Calgary, Alberta

The Team

This role operates within a highly cross-functional team, partnering closely with Procurement, Operations, HSE, and Legal to ensure contractor compliance and alignment with company standards. It requires strong collaboration and communication, with a shared focus on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

The work environment is structured and detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, compliance, and proactive risk management. It is both analytical and operational, balancing system administration with real-time problem-solving to support safe and efficient contractor performance.

A Day in The Life

Contractor Management System Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for ISNetworld including configuration, workflows, dashboards, and data quality.
  • Maintain contractor compliance requirements across safety programs, training, insurance, certifications, and documentation.
  • Support contractors in navigating ISN submissions, addressing gaps, and understanding company requirements.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, HSE, and Legal to ensure contractor requirements align with internal standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Conduct periodic audits of contractor records and flag compliance deficiencies.
  • Develop and deliver training and support materials for internal users and contractors.

Contractor Safety Program Oversight

  • Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure alignment with corporate HSE expectations.
  • Track leading indicators (training compliance, prequalification completion, program submissions) and lagging indicators (incidents, TRIF, SIF-potential, corrective actions).
  • Provide recommendations to Operations and Procurement regarding contractor approval status or additional controls needed based on risk trends.
  • Participate in prequalification, onboarding, and post‑contractor evaluation processes.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience with contractor management platforms (an asset).
  • Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in Excel/Power BI or similar tools.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Process‑improvement mindset and comfort working with digital systems.
