Your Opportunity at SECURE

As our Manager, Corporate E&P & Sales Enablement, you will be responsible for leading both the Corporate Sales Representatives and the Sales Enablement team, ensuring alignment between sales strategy and execution. The sales manager and their team are accountable to support and grow our customer base utilizing SECURE’s network of waste disposal facilities. The team's focus is on building and fostering relationships with corporate personnel within our customers' organisations. 

With a focus on sales planning, customer relationship management, and sales enablement, this position plays a key role in driving both short- and long-term sales objectives while maintaining SECURE’s competitive position in the market.

This individual will ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenue and EBITDA through strategic planning and effective management of sales personnel, with clear accountability for supporting volume growth and utilization across SECURE’s waste disposal facilities.

The Manager, Corporate E&P/Sales Enablement, demonstrates strong strategic leadership, fostering trust with employees, customers and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

You’ll lead a high-performing, collaborative team of Corporate Sales Representatives and Sales Enablement professionals who are aligned on shared goals and accountable to results. This role operates in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment where strategic thinking and execution go hand in hand. Working closely with Business Development, Marketing, and Operations, you’ll play a key role in strengthening customer partnerships, optimizing performance, and advancing SECURE’s position as an industry leader—always grounded in our unwavering commitment to safety and operational excellence.

A key mandate of this position is ensuring strong alignment between corporate sales strategy, and the operational realities of our waste disposal facilities — driving profitable volume, pricing discipline, and long-term customer retention.

A Day in The Life

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Corporate Sales Representatives and Sales Enablement professionals.
  • Set clear standards, expectations, and performance metrics for both teams, ensuring accountability and goal alignment.
  • Mentor, motivate, and support Sales Representatives throughout the sales cycle, including pricing, contract negotiations, and MSA requirements.
  • Establishing team sales KPIs and goals, communicating and continually reviewing those with the team to drive high performance and to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide support and assistance in executing Business Development initiatives.
  • Develop, execute, and manage sales programs, including compensation, coaching, and training for sales personnel.
  • Establish and enforce sales policies, practices, and procedures to drive market growth.
  • Assist sales personnel in building and maintaining relationships with strategic and growth accounts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand and maintain market share.
  • Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety by promoting a culture of accountability, risk awareness, and adherence to company safety policies and procedures.

Sales Enablement Strategy & Execution

  • Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive sales enablement program to support the sales team’s effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement structured sales enablement strategies to enhance productivity and revenue growth.
  • Ensure the sales team has access to training, playbooks, sales content, and market intelligence to enhance performance.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository of sales resources, ensuring materials are current, relevant, and easily accessible.
  • Design and implement sales training programs, onboarding initiatives, and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Define best practices for sales processes, content adoption, and performance measurement, ensuring a data-driven approach to enablement.
  • Ensure pricing integrity and competitiveness while maximizing profitability.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify gaps and develop corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Crude Oil Marketing, and Operations to align priorities with business needs and opportunities.
  • Analyze ongoing business performance to identify gaps, deficiencies, and opportunities working closely with operational teams to drive revenue growth.

Customer Relationship Management & Development

  • Develop and execute strategies to develop sales, marketing, and customer retention strategies for corporate sales.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage MSAs and corporate service contracts to optimize value for both SECURE and its clients.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, internal stakeholders, and sales teams, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Implement customer-focused improvements to enhance service delivery and strengthen partnerships.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience & Leadership: 10+ years in sales and marketing, with 5+ years in a supervisory/management role within Oil & Gas, Waste Management, or Environmental industries.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of oilfield waste management, including clients, suppliers, competitors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Sales CRM systems.
  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with regional markets and business landscapes.
  • Strategic & Sales Skills: Ability to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies tailored to the waste management sector.
  • Communication & Influence: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence without direct authority.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to nurture and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership & Team Building: Visionary leader with a track record of building high-performance teams through empowerment, engagement, and accountability.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or within a team environment while meeting business objectives.
