To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and safety-oriented Labourer (Sandblaster/Painter) to join our team.

Reporting to our Welding Supervisor, the Labourer is primarily responsible for industrial sandblasting and painting (bins, framework, etc.) and general shop duties.

The shift is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is a potential for overtime, including some half day Saturday's, workload dependent. This is a full-time position for a term of 8 months with a potential for full season work depending on demand.

• Sandblasting and Industrial Painting – bins, frameworks, etc.
• Clean work area to eliminate possible hazards
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, of equipment or materials
• Read instructions, work orders or other customer requirements to complete customer orders
• Manually lift heavy materials
• Spot trucks and heavy equipment
• Use any hand tools that may be required for tasks
• Complete Pre-Job Hazard Assessments and Equipment Pre-Use Inspections
• Other general labour duties as required

• Possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude

• 1 -2 years sandblasting and painting experience is preferred but not required
• Must be able to perform physical repetitive tasks with the ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work outside year-round in all weather conditions
• Previous experience working in the industrial/metal industry is considered a strong asset
• Loader experience is considered an asset.
