The Corporate Account Manager plays a key role in driving business growth by supporting sales initiatives across our hazardous and industrial waste management business line. This position is responsible for developing strong customer relationships, assisting with pricing, contract negotiations, and proposal development, and contributing to strategic marketing efforts. The role involves identifying cross-divisional sales opportunities, maintaining accurate records through CRM, and providing regular reporting on sales activities and market trends. With a focus on collaboration, customer service, and strategic execution the Corporate Account Manager helps strengthen SECURE’s market presence and supports the achievement of overall business objectives.

The Team

Our Hazardous & Industrial Waste Sales team is dynamic and fast-paced, delivering exceptional customer service while driving new revenue growth for SECURE. They are collaborative, driven, and are looking for someone to join the team who thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate must be comfortable working both in-office and in the field, including travel to various sites and client meetings within their assigned region. The role will be based in Calgary, Alberta.

A Day in The Life

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities for SECURE to deliver value to customers
  • Lead high-impact business development initiatives across Western Canada, with a focus on expanding into national accounts within the Canadian industrial waste management sector
  • Support the team with pricing strategy, contract negotiations, quotes, and MSA (Master Service Agreement) requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate on the development of proposals, execution of customer MSAs and ongoing support with invoicing and account maintenance
  • Implement a structured sales process including, daily/weekly planning, KPI tracking, and CRM-based management of top customer accounts
  • Represent SECURE at industry events and trade functions to build brand presence and expand professional networks
  • Mentor team members to ensure a strong understanding of business units, services, and customer value propositions
  • Act as a liaison between divisions, identifying cross functional sales opportunities and ensuring appropriate follow up by divisional stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting and insights during sales meetings and senior leadership, highlighting opportunities and performance metrics
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic decision making for existing service lines
  • Participate in divisional strategic planning sessions, contributing insights and aligning team goals with broader business objectives
  • Develop and actively manage a Personal Development Plan that aligns with individual growth aspirations and broader organizational goals

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

The individual in this role will have:

  • 4-5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hazardous and industrial waste sector, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics
  • Proven sales success and an established network within the drilling and completions sector are strong assets
  • Exceptional communication, customer relationship management, and sales skills
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and highly team-oriented
  • Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead discussions and represent the company externally
  • In-depth knowledge of remediation, reclamation, and drilling waste sectors, including relevant industry regulations
  • Demonstrated strength in proposal development and the delivery of compelling, client-focused presentations
