Your Opportunity at SECURE

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Haul Driver to join our Rail Services team.   We specialize in emergency derailment response, site remediation’s and are also responsible for day-to-day railway related projects.

The Team

The Rail Services Team oversees and coordinates rail derailment emergency response and facility operations. In the event of a derailment, the team directs the deployment of response teams and equipment. They collaborate closely with external stakeholders, including emergency responders, regulatory agencies, and rail companies to ensure a unified and effective response to incidents.

Work Environment

This position requires 24/7 on call availability and a willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.

A Day in The Life

  • Comply with all jurisdiction traffic safety legislation.
  • You will safely operate a heavy haul tractor with low boy trailer, jeep and booster.
  • You will abide by all Secure and customer locations safety procedures.
  • You will assist with day-to-day operations at the facility.
  • You will also operate excavators, loaders, shears - training will be provided. 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years driving experience in the heavy haul industry or demonstrated competency.
  • Solid knowledge base with respect to Hours of Service, Load Securement and Driving Regulations.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian geography, highway systems and rules.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset.
