The Transfer Station Labourer is responsible for receiving containerized and bulk hazardous and non-hazardous waste material, reviewing and completing waste documentation and scale tickets, identifying, consolidating, and repacking various waste streams, and completing day-to-day tasks such as facility inspections and equipment maintenance. Waste tracking, shipping & receiving, and safety documentation are key aspects of this role, and the successful candidate will be part of a team ensuring all aspects are completed in a timely fashion meeting management and regulatory expectations.
This position entails a standard 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call duties. This role may require flexibility in shifts, extended hours, weekend work, and occasional travel as dictated by business needs. Candidates must be prepared to work in challenging work environments including working outdoors in all weather conditions.
