Your Opportunity at SECURE

As our Invoicing Specialist you will be responsible for invoicing the specialty chemicals customers. You will ensure timely and accurate invoicing as well as posting of inventory tickets, as well as troubleshooting issues on well files with the operations and sales teams.

 

This role is based out of Brookfield Place, Calgary Alberta.

Work Environment

This is an in-office full time position, 40 hours a week.

A Day in The Life

  • Handle and respond to internal emails and phone calls from operations and sales within 24 hours, maintaining appropriate communication.
  • Collaborate effectively with operations and sales teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Reconcile inventory usage in Mudtrac with D365 ticket postings, ensuring accuracy.
  • Confirm pricing for customer bids before posting and review project setup information prior to D365 posting.
  • Ensure all necessary approvals and backups are collected for posting customer invoices, completing invoicing within goal deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot outages or gather missing information promptly demonstrating an understanding of urgency and attention to detail.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • At least two years experience in a similar role.
  • Diploma or a degree in accounting would be an asset.
  • Experience in the drilling fluids or energy industry is preferred, but not essential.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Access skills.
  • Experience with Open Invoice and D365 would be an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional and productive manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for process simplification and improvement, strong interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
