Your Opportunity at SECURE

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Haul Driver with Heavy Equipment Operator experience to join our Rail Services team.   We specialize in emergency derailment response, site remediation’s and are also responsible for day-to-day railway related projects.

 

This role is based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The Team

The Heavy Haul Driver will work together with the Rail Services Team to respond to emergency situations or day to day rail related activities.  

Work Environment

This is a full-time opportunity with on call emergency services requirements.

A Day in The Life

  • Comply with all jurisdiction traffic safety legislation.
  • You will safely operate a heavy haul tractor with low boy trailer, jeep and booster.
  • You will abide by all Secure and customer locations safety procedures.
  • You will assist with day-to-day operations at the facility.
  • You will also operator excavators, loaders, shears - training will be provided. 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years driving experience in the heavy haul industry or demonstrated competency.
  • Solid knowledge base with respect to Hours of Service, Load Securement and Driving Regulations.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian geography, highway systems and rules.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset.
